綾菊の創業は1790年(寛政2年)、現存する酒造メーカーの大半がそうであったように、地元の米と水を天の恵みとして、地元の人達と五穀豊穣を祈り、喜びをわかち合いながら酒造りに励んで参りました。

Ayakiku Shuzo founded in 1790 (Kansei 2). Like many other sake breweries of that time, we have been making sake with local rice and water as a blessing from the heaven and praying for a bountiful harvest together with the local people, and sharing the joy with them.
Ayakiku Shuzo has maintained the same attitude since its establishment.
We have continued to make sake primarily using the locally grown rice, Oseto from Kagawa prefecture.
